Senior Corporate Legal Counsel (f/m/d)

Trusted Shops is a leading provider of trust solutions for e-commerce companies, operating in a dozen European countries with over 700 employees.
Our Corporate Legal Team takes care of internal legal matters, data protection, and compliance. It advises Trusted Shops SE and its affiliated companies on all legal issues.

As a Senior Corporate Legal Counsel, you will be part of our Corporate Legal Team, supporting Trusted Shops SE and its affiliated companies in all legal matters. You will contribute your expertise particularly in the areas of trademark and competition law as well as procedural law, and you will guide our departments with foresight, pragmatism, and innovative spirit.

Your responsibilities

• Trademark law & IP: Managing our trademark portfolio, advising on trademark strategy, and supporting the documentation of trademark use

• Procedural law: Handling litigation and pre-litigation matters in cooperation with external law firms

• Competition & media law: Assessing issues under unfair competition law as well as evaluating statements/reviews for legal admissibility

• Contract law: Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal agreements (including terms & conditions, SaaS, IT, and license agreements), also in English

• Legal operations & knowledge management: Helping design and optimize internal processes, particularly with regard to automation and standardization

• Advisory: Addressing national and cross-border legal matters with a focus on e-commerce and contract law

• Legal opinions & analyses: Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions, memos, and decision templates

• Successfully completed studies in law or business law (LL.M.)

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm or legal department, ideally in a digital environment

• Solid expertise in intellectual property law (especially trademark and competition law)

• Experience in procedural law and working with external law firms

• Business-fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

• Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong business acumen

• Team spirit, initiative, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

• Knowledge of corporate law and/or compliance is a plus, as is experience with legal tech and digital tools
