Home of our Product Development is the Products & Engineering Department, which consists of 15 cross-functional Product Teams across 3 Product Domains (Consumer, Business and Platform), working in an agile environment.

We’re looking for a talented and curious Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Consumer Domain and become part of our Profiles Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Cloud Infrastructure, Operations, and Product Development, and who thrives in dynamic environments where reliability, scalability, and quality truly matter.

Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d):

As part of the Profiles Team and a go-to Expert in Infrastructure and Operations, you take on an active role in shaping and delivering both new Features and Services, while ensuring the smooth operation of existing Systems throughout their full lifecycle.

You collaborate closely with Engineers within the Team and across the Consumer Domain, sharing your expertise to drive Best Practices. You design and implement robust Infrastructure, develop effective Monitoring Strategies, and maintain high-performing Systems alongside your Team.

When needed, you also contribute to smaller backend improvements, helping to bring Projects to successful completion.

What your day as a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) might look like:

• Start your day by setting up your mobile workspace, or adjusting your desk at the Office, to get comfortable and ready for a productive day

• Open your personal Task Manager and dive into the stories you’re currently working on, from short-term operational Tasks to long-term Projects that are part of even bigger epics

• Join the Team for the daily Standup to align, share Updates, and set the tone for a collaborative day. Together, you might review the backlog, the Kanban board, or whichever agile workflow your Team prefers

• Spend focused time working on your Stories, Tasks, and Bugs from the current Sprint or Board. Whether coding solo in deep-focus mode or tackling challenges together in Pair- or Mob-Programming Sessions, you’ll have the flexibility to choose the approach that works best

• Lunch time! Whether you grab a bite at home or head out with Colleagues to explore nearby restaurants, this is your chance to recharge

• In the Office today? Maybe it’s Waffle Day or Health Day! Don’t miss the freshly baked Waffles or a Smoothie before getting back to work

• You take ownership of major Cloud Projects and Initiatives, driving them from Concept to successful delivery

• Strong experience implementing Cloud Infrastructure Solutions on AWS, with hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code Tools like Terraform

• Proficiency in at least one Programming Language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, applied to solving complex problems

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines, ideally with CircleCI, to ensure smooth and reliable Software delivery

• Ability to perform end-to-end error analysis, from application to infrastructure, using monitoring and observability Tools such as Instana or CloudWatch

• Collaborative mindset, empowering Colleagues to work independently while fostering mutual respect

• Fluent communication skills in English; German is a plus
