(Senior) Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack

As part of the Platform Operations Department (Tech Unit), we work within the Scalable Business Platform team. Our mission is to create a seamless, reliable foundation that powers both the technical and business processes behind our commercial and product‑enablement work. In this role, you will help ensure data flows effortlessly, processes run as automatically as possible, and users can focus on their core tasks without struggling with systems.

We are currently looking to expand our team with two talented and curious Software Engineers (f/m/d): one with a Fullstack focus and another with a Backend focus and experience in Cloud Engineering. Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack:

• Work closely within a cross-functional Product Team of Salesforce Developers and Admins, and Software Engineers to ensure smooth integration between Salesforce, Zuora, and internal Services

• Bring your Fullstack Engineering expertise into play: integrate and process Data from APIs, design and develop custom backend APIs, and deliver impactful, Data Visualizations (graph-driven frontends) that create real value for our Customers

• Develop high-quality, scalable solutions using TypeScript within an event-driven architecture hosted on AWS, contributing to a modern, cloud-native technology landscape

• Actively contribute to architectural decisions and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to enable secure, automated, and scalable cloud deployments

• Take true ownership of your work, from initial concept and development to deployment and continuous improvement, fully embracing our “You build it, you own it” mindset

A Typical Day as a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack at Trusted Shops:

• Start your day by setting up your mobile workspace, or adjusting your desk at the Office, to get comfortable and ready for a productive day

• Open your personal Task Manager and dive into the stories you’re currently working on, from short-term operational Tasks to long-term Projects that are part of even bigger epics

• Join the Team for the daily Standup to align, share Updates, and set the tone for a collaborative day. Together, you might review the backlog, the Kanban board, or whichever agile workflow your Team prefers

• Spend focused time working on your Stories, Tasks, and Bugs from the current Sprint or Board. Whether coding solo in deep-focus mode or tackling challenges together in Pair- or Mob-Programming Sessions, you’ll have the flexibility to choose the approach that works best

• Lunch time! Whether you grab a bite at home or head out with Colleagues to explore nearby restaurants, this is your chance to recharge

• Proven, hands-on experience in backend and API development using Node.js and TypeScript, combined with solid expertise in OpenAPI for clear API specification and documentation

• Strong experience working with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, and containerized applications on AWS ECS. You are comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and value clean architecture, reliable solutions, and well-tested code

• Practical knowledge of event-driven architectures and modern integration patterns in scalable cloud environments

• Experience building and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI) and working in Git-based workflows using GitHub

• Frontend development experience with React and Next.js, enabling you to contribute confidently across the full stack

• Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, along with a solid foundation in SQL-based databases

• Experience with Zuora or comparable subscription management platforms, and familiarity with Salesforce, is a plus

• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse technology stacks and cross-functional teams

• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are welcome
