As part of the Invites Team, you'll play a key role in designing the foundation of our review funnel, optimizing email conditions to drive the best possible, GDPR-compliant click-through rates. Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d):

• Collaborate with a High-Performing Cross-Functional Product Team: Work with Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and QA Engineers to develop core services for our eTrusted Feedback Platform

• Develop and Enhance Web Platform Components: Build new features and improve existing ones by applying your Infrastructure and Operations expertise to create a smooth and reliable user experience

• Design and Implement Scalable Cloud Infrastructure: Set up modern infrastructure concepts and bring them to life on AWS using Terraform to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency

• Drive Reliable Monitoring and Operations: Develop smart monitoring and logging solutions with AWS CloudWatch, Instana, and Logz.io, and work with the team to ensure our systems run smoothly and reliably

• Embrace the "You Build It, You Own It" Culture: Take full ownership of services, guiding them from development to production, while also managing infrastructure monitoring and automation

A Typical Day as a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) at Trusted Shops:

• Start your day by setting up your remote workspace or adjusting your desk at the office

• Check your personalized task manager to review projects, balancing short-term tasks with progress on larger Epics

• Join the team standup to sync up on the sprint backlog or Kanban board, setting priorities and collaborating on shared goals

• Focus on sprint stories, tasks, or bug fixes - working solo or teaming up with pair or mob programming as needed

• Enjoy a flexible lunch break, whether it’s a home-cooked meal or a casual outing with colleagues at nearby restaurants

• Spend the afternoon on focused work sessions, tailored to team dynamics and preferences

• On your Self-Education Day (monthly), focus on personal growth with a self-directed learning agenda and no scheduled Meetings

• You have hands-on, professional experience working with Cloud-based Infrastructures, with a strong focus on AWS (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB).

• You are highly skilled in provisioning and managing Event-Driven Cloud Environments, including the setup of (No)SQL Databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

• You have practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly using Terraform, as well as proficiency in Shell Scripting and YAML.

• You are familiar with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Practices, especially using tools like GitHub and CircleCI, and are confident in monitoring and alerting with Logz.io and Instana.

• You are comfortable with keeping Cloud Solutions Cost-efficient, demonstrating awareness of FinOps principles and long-term scalability.

• You actively contribute to maintaining and updating Frontend and Backend Tech Stacks, with working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and Java

• You thrive in a self-directed, collaborative environment and communicate confidently with Engineers, System Architects, and Stakeholders across the Business

• Your English communication skills are fluent - additional languages are a plus but not required
