In order to grew our Website team, we are looking for a full time CRO Manager.

The Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager is responsible for systematically improving the conversion performance of the Trusted Shops websites. The objective of the role is to efficiently turn website traffic into high-quality leads and customers, thereby making a measurable contribution to key business KPIs.

Tasks

  • CRO & experimentation strategy ownership – You are responsible for building and owning a structured CRO and experimentation framework, ensuring clear prioritization, feasibility, and measurable business impact.

  • User behavior & funnel analysis – You are responsible for analyzing user behavior and funnel performance to identify key pain points, drop-offs, and conversion opportunities across the entire customer journey.

  • A/B testing & experimentation execution – You are responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests, including hypothesis creation, test design, implementation, and structured results analysis.

  • Conversion optimization (UI/UX & messaging) – You are responsible for optimizing conversion-relevant UI, UX, and messaging elements (e.g., landing pages, forms, CTAs, copy, trust signals) in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Insights & best practice enablement – You are responsible for translating insights into clear recommendations and scalable best practices, sharing learnings and supporting data-driven decision-making across teams.

Job requirements

  • English at C1 level minimum and German at B2, any other additional languages would be a plus

  • Completed Master’s degree in business administration, marketing or a comparable field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in conversion rate optimization, digital marketing or performance-driven website optimization

  • Proven track record in landing-page optimization, A/B testing and experimentation

  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot and proficiency in data analysis with Excel, Power BI, SPSS, R or similar
