Account Manager*in DACH (f/m/d)

The job is a fixed-term parental leave replacement until at least November 2027.

What You'll Do  

• Ownership & Strategic Account Development: Manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized online shops and identify opportunities for growth.

• Value Creation: Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer performance and implement tailored expansion strategies.  

• Building Strong Partnerships: Develop accounts strategically and commercially, prepare customised recommendations, and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Legal, and Product, to ensure coordinated support to deliver a seamless experience for your customers.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with a dedicated Customer Success Manager using insights and metrics to maximize client retention and long-term success.

• Account Ownership Experience: You’ve successfully managed B2B client portfolios, ideally in SaaS or tech-driven environments, with a passion for E-commerce & Digital Solutions.

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to manage large client portfolios with up to 300 accounts with long-term strategic planning to drive retention and expansion.

• Negotiation Skills: A natural sales instinct and persuasive ability, as well as negotiation skills to position solutions effectively.

• Proactive Communication Skills: You enjoy to engage with customers proactively, anticipate their needs, and initiate meaningful conversations to strengthen relationships and drive your customers’ success.

• Tools & Analytical Thinking: Practical experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to drive optimization processes and maximize client performance based on numbers.

• Language Skills: Fluent German and highly proficient in English to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to build trust, resolve challenges, and foster long-term partnerships.
